Not satisfied with being the largest startup and technology event in the Baltics, Latitude59 is continuing to expand its presence around the globe with events in Singapore, Kenya, Uganda and Zambia.
Latitude59 is returning to Nairobi for Latitude59 Kenya Edition 2026 on December 3-4. This will mark the fourth year of Latitude’s African endeavours. Bringing together African startup founders, international investors, and technology companies operating across African and global markets to connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for international growth. Last year's event attracted around 2,000 participants, and organizers expect a similar turnout this year, including 600 investors from Africa, Europe, the Nordics, and Asia.
“Rooted in Estonia, Latitude59 is building bridges between countries, continents, and startup ecosystems. Today, we connect startup communities across the Nordics, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Our international initiatives are driven by a genuine ambition to bring Estonia’s success story to the world and connect innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors, creating opportunities for the next global success stories to emerge,” said Latitude59 CEO Liisi Org.
It will also host pre-events in Uganda and Zambia, ahead of the Kenya conference, aimed at engaging local startup communities and strengthening connections between startup ecosystems across the continent.
A Singapore special
On October 28, Latitude59 will host Singapore x New Nordics Night of Innovation & Investment - organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Estonia in Singapore, Nordic Singapore Innovation Days, and the Swedish Energy Agency as an official side event of SWITCH technology and innovation conference.
“Singapore has made remarkable progress in developing its knowledge-intensive and high-tech startup ecosystem. Today, the country is home to more than 1,200 deep tech startups and has become a major hub for international investors. This year, we expect more than 100 delegates from nine Nordic countries to join us in Singapore, where we aim to connect them with the local and Southeast Asian investment communities and create new opportunities for international collaboration,” said Org.
Fomo.Observer will have a report from the event in Singapore…you know, in case you are experiencing fomo!
