**TALLINN** — Label-ordering platform Wisby has raised €250,000 in strategic growth capital to validate its market valuation after a successful pivot from survival mode to profitability, and to scale product and business development across the company's primary markets in Scandinavia and Western Europe.

Wisby needed to convert existing convertible loans into equity, which required establishing a fair market value tested by real investor capital.

Buildit VC led the round with a €200,000 investment, with an additional €50,000 from an EstBAN angel investor syndicate led by Martin Goroško.

Facing a tightening venture capital market, Wisby previously executed radical cost-cutting measures, reducing its team from eight employees down to three. During this period, the company adopted a strict operational rule: any activity that did not generate revenue within 1 to 90 days was discarded.

> "When the account balance started approaching zero, I was asked a couple of times if we were going to pack it in," said Kaspar Päll, founder and CEO of Wisby. "

The aggressive restructuring allowed Wisby to reach profitability in the first half of 2024\. Wisby forecasts sales revenue between €2.2 million and €2.4 million for the current year, and it has grown the team back to 6 employees.
